SpaceOnHire is at the forefront of transforming asset management and outdoor advertising in India with our innovative SaaS platform. By providing centralized, data-driven tools, our platform enhances asset management, campaign optimization, and delivers measurable results. As we expand, we seek an eXpert in Residence (XIR) who will play a crucial role in driving our vision forward, leveraging the growth in both digital and traditional outdoor advertising to bring transparency, automation, and performance analytics to the industry.

Role Overview

  • We are looking for a dynamic Expert in Residence (EIR) with a strong background in ad sales, particularly in selling ad space to CMOs and other key decision-makers.
  • As an EIR at SpaceOnHire, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will leverage your industry expertise, network, and sales acumen to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals with advertisers and media buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the outdoor advertising space, focusing on selling ad space and our SaaS platform to CMOs, marketing heads, and other key stakeholders.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, media agencies, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Identify trends and opportunities in the advertising market to drive growth and expand SpaceOnHire’s market presence.
  • Product Feedback: Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback and insights from clients, ensuring our platform continues to meet market needs and expectations.
  • Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with media owners, agencies, and vendors to enhance SpaceOnHire’s value proposition and market reach.
  • Leadership: Act as a thought leader in the advertising industry, representing SpaceOnHire at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in an ad sales agency, specifically in selling ad space to CMOs and senior marketing executives.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the advertising industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities in both digital and traditional outdoor advertising.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Network: Extensive network of contacts within the advertising industry, including CMOs, media buyers, and agency executives.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to work independently, think strategically, and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Experience with Google suite of productivity applications (Gmail, Gcalendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Slack.
